Marrakech Desert Tour with a Pool: Agafay Options from 45€

We take guests to Agafay’s pool camps every day, so the prices below are the ones we book in 2026, per adult unless stated. Transport is extra on most day passes; the options are explained further down.

Pool day trips from Marrakech compared

Children aged 3 to 12 pay half price at Be Agafay. Drinks and anything outside the set menu are extra.

Which pool day suits you?

• Lowest price: Agafay Valley, at 45€ with lunch, is the cheapest pool day we book.
• Best views and food: Be Agafay. The Oasis pool looks out over the Agafay hills, and lunch is a 3-course à la carte menu.
• Sunset and a show: choose an afternoon slot. The Seven Saints dinner pass and our camel or quad package both end with dinner and entertainment after sunset.
• Something active: the paragliding package (110€) and the camel or quad package (from 60€) add an activity to your pool time.
• Families: children aged 3 to 12 pay 50% at Be Agafay, and a pool afternoon is the easiest way to do the desert with kids. See our Agafay with kids guide.

Want more privacy? Cabanas and jacuzzi yurts

Every Agafay day pass uses the camp’s shared pool, so you will be swimming alongside other guests, especially at weekends and in summer. Two options give you a space of your own.

A private cabana at Be Agafay

Instead of a reserved sunbed and umbrella, you get a private cabana lounge beside The Oasis pool, with towels included. It costs 100€ per adult with lunch or 120€ with dinner, compared with 70€ and 90€ for a sunbed. It is worth it for couples and small groups who want shade and a base for the whole afternoon.

An overnight yurt with jacuzzi

If you want the water to yourselves, stay the night. At Be Agafay, a double yurt with jacuzzi costs 420€ per night and a standard double yurt 320€, both with dinner, breakfast and tourist tax included. An extra person is 90€. We pick you up around 14:00, so you get the afternoon at the pool, the sunset and dinner, and you return to Marrakech the next day whenever you like.

What a pool day in Agafay looks like

On the Be Agafay pool and lunch pass, the driver collects you from your riad or hotel at 9:30 or 10:00. After 45–50 minutes on the road, the last part on a desert track, you have the pool from 11:00. Arrive for lunch by 14:00 at the latest (last orders are at 16:00), then stay until the late afternoon.

The dinner versions start later. You are picked up in the afternoon, swim while the heat eases, watch the sunset over the hills and have dinner, then get back to Marrakech around 21:00–21:30.

Getting there: transport options

Most day passes do not include transport. Our private car costs 70€ per vehicle for up to 7 people from the medina area (pickups further out add 10€), and a minivan for Be Agafay is 100€. For the camel or quad package, transport is 70€ for groups under 6 or 110€ by minivan. The paragliding package includes private transport.

What to bring

• Swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Towels are provided at Be Agafay.
• A warm layer for the evening: once the sun goes down, the desert cools quickly.
• Money for drinks, which are not included in the set menus.
• Closed shoes if you add a camel or quad ride.
